Roof Replacement on Chevis Dr
We arrived at this two-story home on Chevis Dr in Cary to find cream siding and black shutters that still looked sharp. The only thing letting the place down was a tired old roof. We tore the old material down to the deck, prepped, and laid out 21 squares of GAF Timberline HDZ in Weathered Wood. The new shingle settles softly against the warm body of the house and gives the simple front gable a cleaner read from the street. With its detached side garage and quiet front yard, the home now looks the way it was meant to. Total project: $15,730, completed February 2026.
