Roof Replacement on Abernathy Ct
Abernathy Ct in Cary sits deep in a stand of tall pines, a chalet-style home with dark brown wood siding and an attached two-car garage anchoring the left side. With this much tree cover, drainage and ventilation matter, and we paid extra attention to both during prep. We laid down 29 squares of GAF Timberline HDZ in Appalachian Sky, which reads cool against the dark siding and the green canopy above. The new roof brings the home back to a crisp silhouette in a setting that constantly tries to soften it. Total project: $16,760, completed September 2025.
