Roof Replacement on Alabama Ave
Alabama Ave in Durham was different from a typical residential project, a flat roof on a sizable rectangular footprint with parapet walls running around the perimeter. Flat roofs require a different system entirely from sloped shingle work, and our crew installed a single-ply membrane over a clean prepped deck, working carefully around vents, drains, and antenna penetrations. The 21 squares of membrane went down crisp and sealed, giving the building a properly weather-tight new top with the flat-roof detailing handled the way it has to be. Total project: $26,943, completed March 2025.
