Roof Replacement on Watts St
Watts St in Durham brought us a true historic home, sage green clapboard siding, a deep wraparound porch with classical columns, two tall brick chimneys, and an octagonal turret-like corner feature on the upper level. Older homes like this require respect for the original lines, and the 37 squares we installed had to flash cleanly around two chimneys, a turret, and several intersecting gables. We used CertainTeed Landmark in Weathered Wood. The warm tone reads beautifully against the historic green body and gives the home a roof appropriate to its period and presence. Total project: $21,350, completed December 2025.
