The first company on this list that has their headquarters in Clayton, Ready Roofing also has offices in Wilmington, North Carolina and Williamsburg, Virginia. They pride themselves on their quality craftsmanship, and have GAF Master Elite and Atlas Diamond Pro certifications to back up that claim. Ready Roofing has over 100 Google reviews, and with a rating of 4.7 stars at the time of writing this, those who work with the company tend to have a pretty good experience doing so.
Roof Central is one of the top roofing contractors serving the Clayton area, and provides multiple different services to eastern North Carolina. Some of these include roof repair, replacement, roof cleaning, metal roofing, gutter installation, and solar panel installation to residential and commercial customers. Their motto is “Start at the Top,” representing their trickle-down approach to the company’s culture of doing things correctly, from ownership to the installation crews.
Scro’s has been replacing and repairing commercial and residential roofs since 1995. They are headquartered in downtown Clayton, and have over 200 Google reviews from their customers all over the Triangle. Scro’s, also a GAF Master Elite contractor, has become well known for their faith-oriented company, and their lime-green trucks, on top of their roofing expertise.
Though they have their headquarters in Smithfield, Lane’s have been offering quality residential roofing to the entire Raleigh area, including Clayton, since 2005. While roofing is their specialty, they also offer siding, window, and painting services. Lane’s is a GAF Master Elite Certified contractor, which is GAF’s highest level of certification, so you know the products they offer and techniques they use are backed by the manufacturer.
Carolina Roofing & Vinyl Siding does exactly what they claim to do in their name, and then some. Based out of Clayton, they provide residential and commercial roofing, siding, gutter, and window services to the towns in and around the Raleigh area. They have CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster and GAF Master Elite status. Carolina Roofing & Vinyl Siding will try their best to ensure that your property is protected, and that your roof replacement process goes smoothly.

The next place you can look is to check these companies reviews against your contact’s experiences. The best place to read reviews is on Google’s page for the company, as this is the most common place for customers to leave reviews, and where most companies want their customers to leave them.
A good way to determine how a company will interact with its customers is to see how they respond to reviews, both positive and negative. If a company is responding in a prompt and meaningful way to former customers, that’s a good sign that they will be communicative and responsive for active clients.
